My Story

Katelyn Martens, BKin (Hons), Dip. Pedorthics, C.Ped(C) is a certified pedorthist providing pedorthic assessment and treatment services in Hamilton and Owen Sound, Ontario. She specializes in lower limb biomechanics, gait analysis, and the design and fitting of custom foot orthoses.

Katelyn holds an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from Brock University and completed her formal training in Pedorthics at Western University.

Her clinical practice focuses on evidence-based assessment and individualized treatment planning for foot and lower-limb conditions.

Treatment services may include the design and fitting of custom-made foot orthotics, orthopedic footwear, graduated compression therapy, and select prefabricated products such as metatarsal pads, toe spacers, and over-the-counter orthoses, as clinically indicated.

Katelyn maintains ongoing professional development and has obtained advanced fitting certifications, including Sigvaris Certified Fitter and Bauerfeind Certified Fitter for graduated compression stockings and orthopedic bracing. She works within her professional scope of practice and adheres to current pedorthic standards and best practices.
